Medical Work
A maternity and dental clinic in Nzao, Guinea provides a clean and caring environment for the Mano people to receive medical care.
In Cambodia, CAMA provides services to a referral hospital, ambulance corp, community health “evangelism” projects and medical services to villagers living along the Mekong River. Through the endeavors, CAMA is caring for both the body and soul of people in need.
Medical Professional Skills Enhancement (MPSE)
Nurses and midwives in Russia, Macedonia, and Serbia have been given an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through the MPSE program. In addition to the 15 modules of training presented by visiting nurses and midwives from the United States and Canada, healthcare workers may attend additional weekend training retreats. By enhancing their own professional skills, nurses and midwives are better able to serve the healthcare needs of their clients.
In Macedonia, over 1000 nurses and midwives have followed one or more modules of the MPSE program. In September 2004, the Macedonia MPSE program was officially turned over the national nurses who have been trained by CAMA.
