Give to CAMA
There are several ways to give to Compassion and Mercy Associates...
- CAMA Advance Fund — provides for staff salaries, ministry expenses, and administrative support.
- Priority Projects — CAMACrafts, famine relief, and health care, etc.
- Approved Specials — ministry tools for individual workers such as computers and teacher-training materials.
- Combined Federal Campaign
- Donor giving to CAMA through STEER, Inc. (specify CAMA/C&MA as the recipient of your STEER gift).
You may give to CAMA via telephone using your credit card. You may arrange to have a regular deduction made from your checking account through our CAMA Direct plan. Please call our toll-free number for more information on these giving options. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (Mountain Time Zone).
Please clearly mark all donations “CAMA” and include the project code of the project that you wish to support. Ten percent of all project donations go toward project administration.

CAMA Advance Fund
In 2006 the decision was made to change the name of the primary fund used to support CAMA staff and their ministries from “CAMA General” to the “CAMA Advance Fund.” We concluded that “General” did not convey our urgency in “advancing” God’s Kingdom. Please be assured that gifts to the CAMA Advance Fund will be used in the same manner as those previously given to the CAMA General Fund—to support qualified CAMA staff who develop and implement training and projects that birth wholistic communities of faith.
Ten percent of project funds are designated for administrative expenses. CAMA will make every effort to disburse project finds as designated by the donor, However, in the event that unforeseen circumstances dictate a change in a project’s budget or viability, CAMA reserves the right to redesignate funds at its discretion. Contributions are sought with the understanding that CAMA has your permission to use funds where they best accomplish CAMA’s ministry.

Combined Federal Campaign
CAMA is part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), a United Way type organizaton which consolidates giving for Federal employees.

State, County & Municipal Employees: Check your campaign materials to find the assigned number for CAMA.
